Study Visit to the University of Maastricht (NL)
Study visit to the University of Maastricht (Netherlands) within the framework of the project “ELEVATE – ELEVATING THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN MOLDOVA” was organized on 3 – 7 July 2017at the University of Maastricht, Netherlands, the EU partner of ELEVATE project. The university managers analysed the opportunity to implement the experience of the European countries regarding the development of the policy of internationalization of the higher education in the Republic of Moldova.

The university managers discussed about Internationalization Strategy and its’ structure, challenges and successes on implementation on the institutional or national levels of an Internationalization Strategy, financial and human resources required for implementation of the strategy.
Also, the main points of the discussion was:
Normative acts regulating the process of admission, arrival and documentation of international students;
– Recognition of study papers of international students;
– Admission periods / Beginning of study year for international students;
– Credit recognition procedures for national students participating in mobility programs, etc.
The Working language of the Study Visit to the University of Maastricht was English.
