NATIONAL WORKSHOP: ELEVATING THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION AT SYSTEM LEVEL
National Workshop “Elevating the Internationalisation of higher education at system level” took place in the framework of the International Forum “TRIANGLE 2017-Fostering International Cooperation for Strengthening Knowledge Triangle in Moldova” on 23 – 24 March, 2017, organised in the premises of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM).
The primary objectives of the National Workshop where fully achieved and included:
- Evaluation of current state-of-play of Internationalisation of Higher Education (IoHE);
- Assessment of current state-of-play on accreditation of the joint Study programmes;
- Taking stock of current state-of-play of mobility flows and recognition of degrees in Moldova;
- Fostering a productive policy dialogue that will result in elaboration of recommendations for Strategy Development;
National Workshop “Elevating the Internationalisation of Higher Education at System Level” has been attended by total of 104 people (including ca. 30 high-level members), namely representatives of Higher Education Institutions of Moldova, the Council of Rectors, Ministry of Education, public agencies, business associations and Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), as well as business support organizations, mass-media and other interested stakeholders from Moldova, European Union, Eastern Partnership countries.
Working Languages of National Workshop were English and Romanian, with simultaneous translation into Russian, Romanian and English.
