On April 23, 2019, the State University “B. P. Hasdeu ”organized a seminar dedicated to the influence of the internationalization of education on the employability of graduates. The mayor of Cahul, Mr. Nicolae Dandis, and Mr. Cristian Dan Preda, a Member of the European Parliament, were invited to the seminar.
The agenda of the seminar included several topics:
• Elena Mandaji (institutional coordinator of the ELEVATE project) introduced the project to the public and then spoke about “Internationalization of higher education through European projects and student mobility: the experience of the State University of Cahul”.
• Nicolae Dandis (mayor of Cahul) noted the problems of the availability of qualified staff in Cahul.
• Cristian Dan Preda (Member of the European Parliament) touched on several topics and talked about Moldova’s integration into the EU and the impact of international student mobility on the quality of education in general, but also on the employability of people.
